General procedure for the sulfonamides synthesis
General procedure: To an aqueous solution (6 ml/mmol) of primary amine (1 eq) and Na₂CO₃ (2.0 eq), the sulfonyl chloride (1.5 eq) is added, and the resulting mixture is stirred at r.t. for over 1.5 h. The reaction is monitored by TLC, and after its completion, the mixture is filtered and the solid is dried under vacuum. The crude material is pure enough for its use in further syntheses.
