1 Synthesis of Compound 3a:
A mixture of 2,3-dichloroquinoxaline (7.92 g, 40 mmol)Potassium thiocyanate (0.25 g, 3.4 mol) was dissolved in aqueous solution of hydrazine In 50 mL, and the reaction was carried out in an ice bath for 5 hours under a nitrogen atmosphere.The reaction solution was washed successively with water and saturated brine,dry. Purification by silica gel column chromatography afforded solid compound 3a (5.27 g, 28 mmol) in 70% yield.
