Lewis Structure of HF
The Lewis structure of Hydrogen fluoride (HF) consists of a single covalent bond between a Hydrogen (H) atom and a Fluorine (F) atom, with three lone pairs of electrons surrounding F atom.
Polar or Non-Polar?
Because of the large electronegativity difference between hydrogen (2.20) and fluorine (3.98), hydrogen fluoride is a polar molecule.
