Compound (2) (0.62 g, 3.4 mmol) was dissolved in DMF (5 mL) and potassium carbonate ( 0.57 g, 4.1 mmol) and methyl iodide (0.71 g, 4.1 mmol) were added, and the mixture was stirred overnight at room temperature.The reaction mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate, and the organic layer was washed with an aqueous sodium oxide solution, water and saturated brine, dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, and concentrated under reduced pressure. Compound (7) (0.46 g, 69%) was obtained.
