4.2.2. General procedure for the preparation of (2-phenoxy and heteroyloxyacetoxy) hydrazine (4a-l)
General procedure: To the compounds ( 3a-l , 0.01 mol) in ethanol (10 mL) 99% hydrazine hydrate (0.01 mol) was added dropwise and stirred continuously for 2 to 3 h at room temperature to obtain compounds ( 4a-l ) as white solids. Further, the solid as recrystallized with methanol to get pure products ( 4a-l ).
