Replace the gas environment in the Shrek tube with a nitrogen environment, add 2-phenyl-4-penten-2-ol 0.25 mmol, palladium acetate 0.00125 mmol, methylene chloride 0.5 mL, and add pinacol borane 0.275 with stirring mmol, reaction at room temperature for 12 h. The reaction solution obtained after the reaction was completed was subjected to column chromatography, and the target product obtained in 88% yield was a colorless liquid.
