with thionyl chloride in tetrahydrofuran;N,N-dimethyl-formamide at 50; for 4 h;
Steps:
General procedure: Dimethylformamide (1 drop) and SOCl2 were added to a solution of the corresponding acid inTHF, and the reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 30 min. Then, the mixture was heated to 50°C and stirred at this temperature for 4 h. After the complete conversion of the starting acid, the solvent was evaporated, and the product was used without further purification.
