Steps:
General procedure: To a mixture of p-methoxyaniline (1a, 0.5 mmol) and cyclohexanecarboxaldehyde(2e, 0.6 mmol), and CH3CN (1.5 mL) in a 25ml round-bottomed flask at 60°C underair, the reaction vessel was allowed to stir at 60 °C for 24 h. After reaction, theresulting mixture was isolated by column chromatography on silica gel withEtOAc/petroleum (1:2) to obtain the products(3a) as brown solid. The compounds(3b-3n) were obtained by the same method.
