Steps:
CDP-choline (1)
2 (0.392 g, 1.0 mmol) was added to MeOH (10 mL)followed by the addition of 3 (0.310 g, 1.2 mmol) and was stirred atroom temperature for 10 min. Then 98% H2SO4 (0.005 mL, 10 mol%)was added. The mixture was kept at 50 °C for 3 h. The solvent wasremoved in vacuo and the residue was purified by recrystallisationfrom EtOH to give 1 as a white solid (0.410 g); yield 85%
