1.E Step E. The cyclization process:
300 L of toluene was added to the reactor to dissolve 70 kg of diethyl 2-(3-ethoxy-4-n-oxyanilinyl)methylenemalonate in toluene. ,Add 150 mL DMF, stir mechanically, heat to 110°C, slowly instill BTC (14 kg)/toluene solution, complete dropwise within 30 minutes, reflux for 3 hours, recover part of toluene by vacuum distillation,After the end, the reaction solution was poured into 2.5 L of ice water to precipitate a pale yellow precipitate, which was filtered. The filter cake was washed with water and dried in vacuo to give the product, deoxyquinacin, 43.7 kg. The yield of this step was 69.3%.
