Steps:

Add 200ml of anhydrous methyl tert-butyl ether and 90g (0.335mol) of plant ketone to a reaction flask equipped with a thermometer, stirring, and drying reflux tube. The temperature is reduced to 0°C, and 250ml of vinyl chloride Grignard solution is slowly added dropwise. (Containing vinyl chloride Grignard agent 0.369mol), after dripping the reaction below 5 for 2 hours, then dripping 100ml of saturated ammonium chloride solution to quench the reaction, add 200ml of water after filtration, stir, stand still for layering, use 200ml for the organic layer After washing with water, it was dried with anhydrous sodium sulfate, the solvent was recovered under reduced pressure, and the residue was subjected to rectification. The 2mmHg 125-135°C fraction was collected to obtain a pale yellow liquid, which is isophytol (84.4g, yield 85percent)
