Thereafter, the reaction solution was returned to room temperature, neutralized with an equivalent amount of sulfuric acid, neutralized salt was separated by filtration, unreacted raw material was removed by distillation, and 352.5 g of methyl β-methoxypropionate (abbreviation: MPM) Obtained. The purity was 99.9%, and the yield was 99%.
