17.1 Step 1: Synthesis of 2 -(difluoromethyl)piperazine
To a solution of tert-butyl 3-(difluoromethyl)piperazine-1-carboxylate (30 mg, 0.127 mmol) indioxane (2.0 mL) was added HC1/dioxane (4 N, 1.0 mL). The reaction solution was stirred at 25°C for 1 h. The reaction mixture was concentrated. The residue was used in next step directly without any further purification.
