After the reaction was maintained for 24 h, the content of 2,4-dichlorophenol was monitored by HPLC to be less than 0.01%. The reaction was stopped, cooled, and filtered to obtain 1395. g of butyl 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetate, purity 98.0%, yield 99.0. %. The free phenol content was 75 ppm.
