7 Example 7Preparation of gliclazide
To a 250 mL three-necked flask was added N-amino-3-azabicyclo [3.3.0] octane hydrochloride prepared in Example 6 (2)20 g of p-toluenesulfonylurea, 100 ml of toluene and heated under reflux for 3 hours.
