4.2. General procedure for O-acylation of phenols in TfOH
General procedure: Phenol (0.28 mmol) and acyl chloride (0.84 mmol, 3 equiv) were dissolved in 1% TfOH/CH3CN (1 ml) at room temperature. The reaction mixture was stirred at same temperature for an hour, then poured into cold water and ethyl acetate. The organic layer was washed with 1 M HCl, saturated NaHCO3, and saturated NaCl, and dried over MgSO4, then filtered. The filtrate was concentrated to afford O-acylated products. All spectral data were identical with the literatures.[27], 27(a), 27(b), 27(c), 27(d), 27(e), 27(f), 27(g) and 27(h)
