General procedure: To a solution of bis(trichloromethyl) carbonate in CHCl3 was added dropwisearomatic amines in CHCl3 in an ice bath. When the addition was finished, thereaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1-8 h and then heated atreflux until the reaction solution clarified. After the solvent was evaporatedunder atmospheric pressure, the residual liquid could be evaporated underreduced pressure.
