100g of concentrated hydrochloric acid (12mol / L) into 250ml round-bottomed flask, under ice-cooling conditions, 40g of anhydrous piperazine was added slowly. After addition, the ice bath was removed, the reaction overnight at room temperature, suction filtered, the filter cake placed in an oven dried, the resulting white solid, a piperazine dihydrochloride.
