Step 8 To a solution of Compound I-158 (508.7 mg, 1.366 mmol) in tetrahydrofuran:methanol (1:1, 7.0 mL), 20% palladium hydroxide-carbon (50% of water content, 100 mg) was added. The solution was then stirred under hydrogen atmosphere at room temperature for 4 hours. The reaction solution was filtered, and then the filtrate was concentrated in vacuo to yield Compound I-55 (1.52 g, 100%). LC/MS (Method D): 0.92 min, [M+H]+ = 239 1H-NMR (CDCl3) δ: 5.41 (1H, s), 4.53 (2H, s), 3.95 (2H, t, J = 5.3 Hz), 3.84 (2H, t, J = 5.3 Hz), 1.48 (9H, s).
