The alcohol compound (1 mmol of) was dissolved in 20 ml of water, heated to 40 , added oxidase (0.1mmol), 1.5 hours after the reaction, the reaction solution was cooled, drained of all solvents, the organic solvent is added to 50 ml, the resulting solution washed with brine three times. The organic phases were separated, the aqueous phase was extracted twice with an organic solvent (50mL).The organic phases were combined, dried over drying agent, the drying agent was filtered off, the solvent was evaporated to dryness, the corresponding aldehyde compound to butyraldehyde (yield 100%, GC purity 99%).
