Add 0.01mol (1.16g) levulinic acid, 0.06mol (5.65g) phenol, 0.004mol (1.70g) 3-(sulfobutyl)-5-methyl-2-mercapto-1,3, 4-thiadiazole-3-mercaptopropane sulfonate was added to a 25 mL round bottom flask, and the reaction was stirred at 60° C. for 12 h. Through liquid chromatography analysis, the yield of bisphenol valeric acid was 89.2%, and the selectivity of bisphenol valeric acid was 97.6%.
