After the reaction is completed, the entire organic reaction system and the ionic liquid catalyst are clearly layered.The separated organic liquid is neutralized with a saturated sodium carbonate solution, and the aqueous layer is separated by liquid separation.The organic ester layer was washed with saturated brine and dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, and the unreacted alcohol was distilled off.Distillation under reduced pressure gave a colorless, transparent liquid, which was methyl isonenoate.
